NATRON Forced To Cancel SOUTH XTREEM NOISE Festival Appearance

August 6, 2007

Italian death metallers NATRON have issued the following update:

"NATRON and all the bands (among others ROTTING CHRIST, SINISTER, PANDEMIA, OBSCENITY, DEFEATED SANITY and more) which were supposed to play tonight [Sunday. August 5] the South Xtreem Noise fest in Cardito (Italy) were forced to cancel their appearance! Shit happened during the first day of the festival which was yesterday the 4th of August. The local promoter disappeared before the end of the DISMEMBER live set. Most of the bands (including headliners DISMEMBER, CRIPPLE BASTARDS, EMETH),the PA system, security, hotel accomodations for the bands weren't paid. A hell broke loose in the hotel as all the bands scheduled for the day after appearance were asked to pay their bill or to leave the room. Of course no fee was arranged for any of the bands playing the second day of the festival. Today (August the 5th) in the early hours just one thing was clear: there wouldn't be any festival continuation! We apologize with our fans and we express sympathy for the bands and the kids which have been cheated!"

A new NATRON song, entitled "Heads are Rolling", has been posted online at the band's MySpace page. The track comes off band's three-track promo EP, "EP Resurrection 006", which is being used primarily to procure a new label deal.
